Project Summary
This congress game was created to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance by educating attendees at events and exhibitions, and even the public via a series of international bus tours. We created an engaging video game, with an educational dimension. Based inside the human body, the user answers simple multiple-choice questions before they gain access to the game. The game included a live stream leader board for that country or event.
The challenges
• Raising awareness of antimicrobial resistance among diverse audiences, including event attendees and the general public.
• Delivering educational content in an engaging and accessible format.
• Capturing and maintaining user attention during events and exhibitions.
• Encouraging participation through interactive and competitive elements, such as a live leaderboard.
• Ensuring the educational game is suitable for international audiences across various locations.
Our solution
We developed an engaging, educational video game to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance at events, exhibitions, and through international bus tours. Set inside the human body, users answer simple multiple-choice questions to unlock the game, where they tap bacteria to earn points. A live-streamed leaderboard added a competitive element by country or event, driving participation. The game successfully captured attention, educated attendees, and left a memorable impact at the congress.
